Product Photoshoot: Should The Client Be Present

ABSOLUTELY!

When the client collaborates with us, the photoshoot will be setup so that a laptop is tethered to the camera. This means the client will see each photo taken on a big screen.

  • Each photo taken can be approved immediately

    • I can't stress enough the importance of having the client present during the photoshoot; it truly makes all the difference in the overall outcome of the project.

    • When the client is on-site, each photo taken can be approved immediately, allowing for real-time feedback that can significantly enhance the quality of the work. This immediate interaction facilitates a collaborative atmosphere where ideas can be exchanged freely, and adjustments can be made on the spot.

  • The shot can be reviewed and changed as it happens

    • For instance, if a particular angle doesn't capture the desired effect or if the lighting needs to be altered, these changes can be implemented right then and there, rather than waiting until after the shoot to realise that something is amiss.

  • The Client is part of the process

    • Having the client present fosters a sense of trust and assurance. They can witness the creative process firsthand, which helps them feel more involved and invested in the final product.

    • This involvement not only boosts their confidence in the photographer's ability but also allows for a deeper understanding of the artistic choices being made.

  • The Client will know exactly what images will be provided

    • When the clients sees each photo taken, they can leave the session feeling satisfied, knowing that every detail has been meticulously considered and that all the photos will meet their expectations.

  • Collaboration is Key!

    • A collaborative approach saves an immense amount of time and effort.

    • Instead of going back and forth with emails or messages after the shoot, where the client might express their thoughts or concerns about the images, everything can be addressed in real-time.

    • This efficiency not only streamlines the workflow but also enhances the overall experience for both the photographer and the client.

    • They can go home knowing that all the photos have been captured perfectly, without the anxiety of wondering how the final images will turn out.
