Your Phone Has Just Been Stolen

Immediately: Find someone else who is willing to help

  1.  REMOTE-LOCK THE PHONE

    1. Find someone else and get them to go to: https://www.google.com/android/find/lock

    2. Your device must be online. If your device is offline, its screen will lock automatically once it's online.​​
       

  2. ERASE DATA

    1. Open Google app​ on another phone

    2. Click on their profile icon

    3. Select: "Add Another Account". Log in using the email on the stolen phone

    4. Once logged in, click on your profile pic and select "Manage Your Google Account"

    5. Scroll right to find "Security" tab, then scroll down till you find your stolen device

    6. Click on 'Find Lost Device'

    7. Select stolen phone

    8. Erase all data​
       

  3. ​SIGN DEVICE OUT OF GOOGLE​

    1. Still in the Security tab, Scroll to the “Your devices” section, and select “Manage all devices.”.

    2. Choose the stolen device from the list, and select the “Sign out” option. Then, click “Sign out” to remove the device.
